25 Memes With Unspeakable Power

As tropes go, the "strong and silent type" always piques my interest. There's something so compelling about a large person with nothing to say. It is equal parts chilling and deeply comforting. One of my favorite iterations of it: Ferb from Phineas and Ferb. Man says hardly anything throughout the whole series but remains intriguing and captivating. Another example of this is Gromit from Wallace and Gromit. I guess I just really appreciate a duo where one of them leads with words and the other follows along silently. We need more of that in our contemporary culture. Everyone's talking all the time, it's exhausting.

We need fewer speakers and more people who just make hilarious faces to the camera. These memes may not be the strong and silent type, but they're still worth exploring.
